Becca Marcela Oviatt
Based in New York City, Becca Marcela Oviatt is a talented photographer, videographer, dancer, and educator dedicated to capturing the essence of movement and performance. As the founder of BECCAVISION CREATIVE TEAM, she and her team specialize in dance photography, videography, portrait photography, and event documentation.
Her commitment to supporting artists is evident in her diverse experience, including roles as a Festival Photographer at the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival and as a Photographer and Videographer for New York University, MOVE|NYC|, DanceWorks NYC, and Sole Defined. Notably, she photographed Jennifer Archibald for a dance magazine cover in February 2025 and recently documented Guggenheim Fellow Ryan K. Johnson at the Guggenheim Foundation’s Centennial event at the New York Public Library.
Becca holds a Master’s degree in Dance Education from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from SUNY Brockport. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring NYC’s arts scene and engaging in community initiatives that promote the arts.
